5 Seconds of Summer just released on April 13th their second single and title track from their upcoming album Youngblood. They released their first single, Want You Back in February, when they also announced an upcoming 2018 tour.
All Time Low has released seven studio albums, two live albums, and well over 100 songs collectively. Because of this, a lot of songs that aren't lead as the singles or aren't played very often are left in the dust and don't get the recognition they deserve. Here's my top 10 most underrated All Time Low songs.
If you haven't heard of Halsey, you must be living under a rock. After signing to Astralwerks, her debut EP Room 93 was released in 2014 and peaked at #159 on the US Billboard 200. She released her debut studio album Badlands the year after with the lead single New Americana. Badlands was Halsey's first huge hit, selling over 97,000 copies in the US within the first week and later went platinum.
It is crazy how much even in the past couple of years how much people use their phones at concerts. From the minute the lights go dark and the music starts playing, every other person in the venue has their phone up and ready to record the band coming on the stage and playing their first song on the set. I promise you, the opening song is never the best time to record, especially with 300 phones filming right in front of you.
I've made it pretty clear this past year or so that I love the band Waterparks. I've seen them a bunch of times opening for All Time Low, at Slam Dunk, and on their headline shows. So when they announced their first UK headlining tour, I was there. I managed to make it to three of their shows on the tour: London, Birmingham, and Brighton.
When you've been to as many concerts as I have, people are quick to question how I can afford it and why I would spend so much money on concerts. Concerts are my thing. I love live music and it's without a doubt, my favorite thing to do. It doesn't matter if its a 200 capacity venue or 20,000 capacity arena, or if I've never heard of the artist or a band I've seen 6 times before.
Revolution Radio Tour hit Mansfield, Massachusetts on August 28, 2017. A review in pictures.
For many general admission standing concerts, people tend to get to the venue hours before the event stats to ensure a good spot. I am usually one of the crazy people that will wait anywhere from 2 to 10 hours for particular acts. If you are thinking about lining up (or queueing) early, there are many different factors to determine how early you should/would want to get to the venue. Here are some important things to think about when preparing for your general admission concert.
As you may or may not know, I'm a pretty big All Time Low fan. I've been listening to their music for about 6 or 7 years now and although I don't listen to them as much as I used to, their concerts are still some of my favorite. I love the band and their personalities and I try to see them live every chance I get! With the easy accessibility of trains in the UK, I took it upon myself to go to as many shows as I could...which ended up being five on this tour.
Mat Musto, better known by his stage name, Blackbear, is an artist you definitely want on your radar. I will warn you, he has pretty explicit lyrics, in terms of swearing, so if you're not a fan of that, try to look for some clean versions of his songs.
This post is directed towards your first general admission concert, but it could also apply to anyone going to their first concert, in general! It's important to be prepared and know what you're getting yourself into when you get a standing/put ticket for a concert.
Meet and greets are usually super expensive, especially when seeing a big name artist. Although I have been able to meet several artists and celebrities, I've actually only paid for a meet and greet once. I have met serval artists on other occasions and some through the luck of the draw.
